Morello har mere at give! ”Worldwide Rebel Songs” er det tredie album han udsender i navnet Tom Morello: The Nightwatchman. Han beskriver selv albummet således: ”Troubled times call out for troubled songs. “World Wide Rebel Songs” is an album of rousing hopelessness and this time The Nightwatchman has brought along his electric guitar to tip the scales. I wanted to capture a vibe midway between Johnny Cash and Che Guevara, murder ballads and Molotov anthems.” Hans politiske engagement er vidt kendt, og Morello har sammen med Serj Tankian fra System Of A Down grundlagt organisationen Axis of Justice, som forsøger engagere rockfans i politik, social retfærdighed og solidaritet.
